Posted on FoxNews.com tonight, Re: Obama calling himself 'The Gipper'

I have heard arrogance before in my life... then I saw Obama, and realized we'd reached a new level of ego. The man keeps achieving new levels of 'high' for himself alone (in the name of his poitics) and now, if you ask me, he has gone WAY too far.

Barack Obama has NO BUSINESS calling himself 'the Gipper' or in ANY WAY RELATING HIMSELF TO RONALD REAGAN! President Reagan was one of the most incredible Presidents this country had in the Twentieth Century, if not let alone our history. He saw us through some very difficult times (i.e., the loss of the Challenger shuttle and various horrific terrorist activities) and always stood strong by us (and our allies, i.e., Israel, who Obama has essentially abandoned).

Reagan helped finish one of the greatest enemies our nation has ever had (the U.S.S.R.) and then began what he (apparently) hoped would be a significant change in the world. It appears, however, that the Democrats haven't changed in the slightest from their Socialist behaviors of the past, because they are STILL trying to do what they've been trying to do for many, many years! The only difference is the way they're trying to do it.

The current President of the United States is a man I have no respect for. I try to be as polite as I can, considering the office he holds is the highest one in our nation... but Barack Obama makes it very difficult with his arrogant behavior and actions.

Trying to compare himself to Reagan must have the (real) Gipper rolling in his grave.
